It’s 1951, and
the Manhattan’s Women’s Club is holding their annual Charity
Dinner. Presiding over the club is Mrs. Penelope Fitz-Herbert
Pendalton, heiress to the Vitameatavegamin Empire. Mrs.
Pendalton has had her assistant, Carlotta Romero, arrange for
Ricky Ricardo perform “Babalu” for the benefit, as Mrs. Pendalton
is Ricky’s biggest fan. Mrs. Pendalton is also auditioning
finalists to be her new Vitameatavegamin Girl. Ricky arrives with
Fred, who is his new band manager, wondering why he’s performing
at a benefit. Fred gives Ricky the news that The Tropicana is
about to go under, so Ricky needs to find a way to raise money to
open up his own club. Fred thinks buttering up the rich dames at
the benefit is just the answer!
Of course, where
Ricky and Fred go, Lucy and Ethel are never far behind them. Lucy
sneaks in and manages to convince Mrs. Pendalton she’s the third
finalist. She and Ethel also try to get into the act when Ricky
performs. Classic hyjinks ensue until someone dies. Who should
step up to solve the case, but Lucy! Will she figure out
whodunit, and more importantly, will she be the next
Vitameatavegamin Girl?

"The Return
of Sherlock Holmes"
Mystery Dinner Theater
in downtown Denver

$50 per person
Mr. Noah
Wainwright has gathered together friends and other “true
believers” for an evening with Madame Mariska, a psychic medium.
Madame Mariska does it all: tells your fortune, reads your palm,
contacts the dead, takes your money, etc. She is Noah’s Psychic
Advisor. Assisting Madame Mariska is Sheldon Snerdley. He’s more
of a toady than an assistant. Sheldon goes about finalizing who
will get readings that night, and has the odd feeling that he’s
been at this venue before, even though he never has. A woman
calling herself Jackie Smith arrives and asks if she could get a
reading from Madame Mariska. When Sheldon learns how rich Jackie
is, he makes certain that she’ll get a reading. It would seem
Madame Mariska prefers wealthy customers more than poor ones.
Jackie and Sheldon share some more déjà vu and feel like they’ve
met before, but can’t explain it.
Madame Mariska
makes her grand entrance and begins her evening. But something is
off. She and other people keep getting chills. Strange things
start occurring, and suddenly someone dies a violent death. The
next thing you know, the spirits of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson
have taken over two of the people there. Were they pulled from
the spirit world to solve the mysterious death that just happened,
and is that death linked to a murder they tried to solve at this
very location 100 years ago?!
