"Slayton's meats are smoked low
and slow over hickory until the flavors and textures are just
right. The ribs are seasoned and smoked so well that sauce is
an afterthought...All the sides are excellent,
but the onion rings are textbook perfect-- nicely cooked
onion slices coated in light, crisp batter. Don't bother
getting all gussied up to dine here. It's about as down-home
comfy as it comes."
