Banana Walnut Bread Pudding
from The French Hen in Tulsa, Oklahoma

We serve our pudding with homemade vanilla bean ice cream and a caramel branch sauce.

Ingredients:
6 cups cream   3 eggs
4 eggs yolks   1 cup + 4 T. sugar
1 t. salt   2 t. Vanilla
2 loafs Banana Bread  
Directions:
  • Mix cream, eggs, cups of sugar, vanilla.
  • Fill 1/2 hotel pan with cubed bread and pour mixture over.
  • Sprinkle with remaining sugar.
  • Bake in water bath at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
