can't get any closer to the ocean than the tables here, which are
literally on the beach. With good food complementing this sensational
setting, foodies have much to enjoy. The split-level dining starts at the
top, near the entrance, with a long bar (where you can also order lunch or
dinner) and a few tables along the railing. Steps lead to the outdoor
tables, where the award-winning seafood dishes come to you with the
backdrop of Lanai across the channel. The prawn and basil wontons, fresh
fish over wilted arugula and bean sprouts, and ahi and ono tempura with
miso and lime-basil sauce are among Pacific'o's memorable offerings. The
vegetarian special, a marinated, roasted tofu steak crowned with quinoa,
Maui onions, red lentils, and a heavenly dose of shiitake mushrooms, is a
long-time favorite. If you like seafood, sunsets, and touches of India and
