"Tomato
garlic salad ($3.50) was a small plate filled with heavenly tomato slices
sprinkled with chopped garlic and parsley. It's served in a pool of good olive
oil. When we finished this plate, the drippings made a nice spread for the
bread. Marinated artichokes ($3.95) were wedges dressed in tart herb vinaigrette
with a sprinkling of unpitted green olives and carrot slices. The Spanish potato
omelet ($2) was also successful – a thick wedge of potato, egg, and onion with
just the right density and nicely browned on top. A side of garlicky mayonnaise
dip was the perfect accompaniment."

"Tucked
away deep in The Villiage on the Parkway, De Tapas may be hard to find, but it's
worth the effort to eat at this friendly little family-run
spot"
