"Offering both
indoor dining and outdoor dining amid lush greenery, this
much-loved place makes regulars of all its guests. The cuisine
springs from Thai traditions but expands greatly, thanks to
Hawaiian ingredients and the chef's boundless innovation.
Dishes are visually gorgeous as well, and island musicians
provide highlights during the evening." |

Regional Cuisine" by 10Best - Trusted Advice for Travelers |

Chai Chaowasaree opened this
fine little bistro as a creative outlet. There are a few
Thai-style dishes here, but most of the dishes are innovative.
The food is fresh and fun. The outdoor lanai, filled with
large umbrellas and plants, seems like a refuge miles away
from its actual location. To top it all, you can see the best
contemporary Island musicians performing here, for the price
of dinner. |

"Owner Chai Chaowasaree's gentle touch is everywhere in this
restaurant: in the polite but warm welcome, in the tinkling
fountain and cascade of orchids, in the live contemporary
Hawaiian music (increasingly rare in restaurants) and in the
food prepared under the direction of chef Jason Takemura. The
restaurant has been recognized by major food media for
Euro-Asian creations, such as the signature appetizer platter,
equally delightful to eyes and palate." |
